CERTIFIED RESTORATION PARTNER
The TreeCloud Alliance
For eco-lodges and tour operators ready to move from passive neutrality to active ecosystem restoration — turning your environmental commitments into measurable, verifiable impact your guests can see and share in.
WHY JOIN
From neutrality to real restoration.
Travel carries an unavoidable footprint — long-haul flights, ground transfers, daily hospitality operations. The TreeCloud Alliance turns that challenge into a transparent, scientifically verified mechanism for ecological reciprocity, while enriching your guests' experience during their stay.
We offer four ways to participate, from full institutional sponsorship to guest-funded programs that require no change to your operating budget. Every model shares the same digital backbone: GPS-mapped, individually numbered trees, live on your TreeCloud.earth dashboard.
MODEL A
Full-Service Restoration.
Sponsor the complete reforestation process — TreeCloud selects high-priority conservation land within verified private farms (finca partners) in the Quijos Valley, and manages sourcing, field labor, and active forest management end to end. Your sponsorship includes 2 years of fully covered on-site monitoring and maintenance so native species reach ecological independence.
Sourcing, planting & management
TreeCloud handles native-species sourcing, field labor, and active forest management end to end.
2 years of covered monitoring
On-site monitoring and maintenance are fully covered through the establishment phase, until native species reach ecological independence.
Full platform access
Your restored forest goes live on TreeCloud.earth with GPS mapping, tracking IDs, and audit-ready reporting.
MODEL B
Digital Platform & On-Property Subscription.
Already planting on your own land? Subscribe directly to TreeCloud's digital infrastructure. We audit, tag, map, and digitize your existing reforestation efforts — turning unrecorded planting into a verified, data-backed narrative for the international market.
MODEL C
Guest-Driven Hub.
A lobby activation that lets guests fund restoration directly — no change to your operating budget. Every contribution becomes a numbered, mapped tree on your dashboard.
TreeCloud transforms a strategic space in your lobby into an interactive conservation station. We install a physical kit that draws attention and educates:
- Topographic Corridor Map: A high-quality visual display showing the regional biological corridors of the Quijos Valley, letting guests see exactly where their impact goes.
- Educational Materials: Clear, engaging brochures with relevant information about the reforestation project, core conservation goals and bio-corridor milestones.
- The Secure Box: A beautifully designed, secure donation box integrated directly into the display.
The experience integrates naturally into the guest's stay during check-in, leisure hours, or check-out, requiring no active sales pitch from your staff:
- Guests receive or pick up a custom envelope.
- The guest completes the formulary with relevant information for transparency to ensure full digital traceability of their contribution.
- Guests place their cash donation inside the envelope.
- Guests place their donation inside the envelope, seal it, and drop it directly into the secure lobby box.
Monthly Audit & Collection: To maintain absolute financial transparency and accurate accounting, we manage the collected contributions through a simple, coordinated process:
- On a scheduled monthly basis, a designated staff member from your lodge and a TreeCloud representative open the secure box together.
- All envelopes are verified, matched against the monthly contributions, and logged into a digital and physical receipt co-signed by both parties for your peace of mind.
From Contribution to Field Action. TreeCloud immediately transfers the physical contribution into real-world restoration, bringing the conservation work to life on a monthly cycle:
- TreeCloud uses the collected monthly funds to source, plant, and manage the corresponding number of native trees within high-priority conservation lands.
The process closes automatically, delivering immediate value and verification to both the guest and your lodge:
- To your guests: Our team processes each envelope, the system automatically emails a personalized digital certificate to the guest. This email showcases their unique tree tracking IDs, native species taxonomy, and an interactive map link to their tree's permanent location.
- To your Lodge: Your official global impact counter on TreeCloud.earth updates automatically. Your public digital dashboard instantly absorbs these new metrics, growing your visible tree count, tracking your environmental milestones, and inspiring international travelers by showcasing the tangible, real-world impact of your hospitality.
MODEL D
Guest Experience Activity.
A premium field excursion — guided planting your guests take part in, with each tree registered on-site and added to your live GIS forest map.
TreeCloud brings a monthly stock of native trees directly to your property or an adjacent designated area:
- We bring and keep a monthly stock of a collection of native trees, chosen specifically to attract local wildlife and endemic birds.
The lodge offers "Tree Planting" as a hands-on guided activity led by your naturalists or local certified guides:
- Under expert guidance, guests physically plant the native trees, getting their hands in the soil and participating in a scientific, long-term restoration effort.
Right after the sapling is safely planted into the earth, the guide captures the physical details to ensure full scientific traceability:
- Using our digital platform, the guide registers the planting data on-site, capturing the specific native species and linking the moment to the guest's details.
TreeCloud immediately shifts the guest's physical action into a permanent digital record, creating a lasting bond between the traveler, your lodge, and the forest:
- The system automatically triggers a personalized digital certificate directly to the guest's email. This elegant keepsake showcases their unique tree tracking IDs, native species taxonomy, and an interactive map link to their tree's permanent location.
- Your lodge's public digital profile on TreeCloud.earth instantly updates. Every tree planted during these excursions automatically expands your visible GIS forest maps, turning guest memories into a collective, data-backed milestone that cements your lodge's genuine legacy within the regional conservation movement.
INCLUDED IN EVERY MODEL
Your digital infrastructure, included.
All four models share the same digital backbone on TreeCloud.earth. An annual Dashboard & Verification Renewal Fee applies from year 3 to keep this infrastructure live for auditing.
Geographic Data
Exact GPS coordinates and interactive GIS mapping of your forest, and a Corridor Connectivity Index.
Scientific Metrics
A complete taxonomic native species inventory, yearly field survival audits, unique tracking IDs for each tree batch, and CO₂ sequestration estimates.
Corporate Integration
Embeddable web widgets for your live tree counter and automated, downloadable PDF ESG reports ready for internal audits.
ANNUAL IMPACT LEVELS
Recognizing your annual volume.
Your tree volume is counted across all models combined — a lodge running Model D excursions and Model C envelope donations in the same year has those trees summed toward the same tier. Each annual level earns a physical recognition award, and higher tiers keep everything the tiers below them earn.

FAQ
Common questions.
Can we combine more than one model?
Yes — many lodges run Model D excursions alongside a Model C lobby box, or combine institutional sponsorship (A/B) with guest-facing programs. Tell us your interests in the form and we'll design a combined partnership.
What happens after Model A's 2-year covered monitoring period?
Your sponsorship covers the full 2-year establishment phase — sourcing, planting, and active management — after which the native species reach ecological independence. From year 3, an annual Dashboard & Verification Renewal Fee keeps your interactive maps, metrics, and field audits live on TreeCloud.earth. This renewal applies across all four models, so your impact stays independently verifiable long-term.
How does the monthly envelope audit work for the Guest-Driven Hub?
Once a month, a designated staff member from your lodge and a TreeCloud representative open the secure box together, verify each envelope against logged contributions, and co-sign a digital and physical receipt — so both sides have a transparent record.
Do the Annual Impact Levels count guest-funded trees too?
Yes. Bronze, Silver, and Gold are based on your total annual tree volume across all models combined — institutional sponsorship and guest-funded trees count toward the same tier.
Do we need to already own conservation land to join?
No. Model A uses TreeCloud-sourced conservation land within our finca partner network in the Quijos Valley, so no land ownership is required. Model B is for lodges that already manage their own planting areas.
Is there a minimum lodge size or guest volume to participate?
No fixed minimum — the Guest-Driven Hub and Guest Experience Activity models scale naturally with your guest volume, and institutional sponsorship (Models A/B) can be sized to fit your footprint.
